Messy Mix of Weather On Tuesday and Tuesday Night #nlwx

An area of low pressure over the Great Lakes region will move across Newfoundland on Tuesday and Tuesday night.

Snow is expected across central and western areas of the Island with a rain-snow mix for the south coast and Avalon.

Across the south coast and central, snowfall amounts between 10 and 20 centimetres are possible.

Across the Burin and Southern Avalon, 10 to 20 millimetres of rain is possible.

Special weather statements have been issued for most of Newfoundland with the exception of the west coast.
