Man charged with Assaulting a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest in Mount Pearl

Saturday evening around 10:20 p.m. RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of unknown trouble in the parking lot of a business in Mount Pearl.

When officers arrived they were confronted by a 34-year-old male. As a result of the incident, the man was charged with Assaulting a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest.

He was released to appear in court at a later date.
