Man Arrested in St. John's Faces Multiple Serious Charges

A 27-year-old man is facing a number of serious criminal charges following an arrest in St. John's on Monday night.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary arrested the man at about 9:20 p.m. in the area of Carters Hill Place.

Police allege the accused is wanted in connection with multiple offences. He has been charged with breaking and entering, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, robbery with violence, and breaching court orders.

The man was held in custody overnight and was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
