Man arrested after livestreaming impaired driving

The RNC in Labrador City has charged a 22-year-old male with impaired driving.

Police received an impaired driving complaint that described a man who was publicly live-streaming video on TikTok and indicated he was operating a snowmobile and may be impaired last Wednesday.

Officers were able to locate the operator of the skidoo in the area of Murphy Avenue based on the video.

The accused was charged with impaired driving offences, his licence was suspended, and the snowmobile was seized. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
