An area of low pressure that moved in overnight will slowly depart today. A few more centimetres of snow is expected this morning as the low pulls away. On the Avalon, precipitation will mostly be rain.

Behind the low, flurries are expected across the Island today and overnight. The west coast will likely see some snow squalls overnight and into Friday.

Gusty winds are expected across Labrador today but skies should remain mostly fair.
