KinderStart registration to open for Avalon Peninsula families

Registration for KinderStart is opening this week for children who will begin kindergarten at schools on the Avalon Peninsula in September 2027.

Families can register online beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, with registration remaining open Thursday, October 8.

Registration applies to children entering English and Early French Immersion programs.

Children must be five years old on or before December 31, 2027, to be eligible for KinderStart.

Families registering will need an email address, a contact phone number and an emergency contact phone number. A confirmation email will be sent to families to complete the registration process.

Registration can be completed through the NL Schools website.

Registration for KinderStart in other regions of Newfoundland and Labrador was completed earlier this year.
