Kids Eat Smart Week launches across Newfoundland and Labrador

Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador is marking the start of Kids Eat Smart Week, running October 5 to 9, with a funding announcement from the provincial government scheduled for Today.

The week recognizes schools and community organizations that provide breakfast programs for children and youth on school days.

The official launch is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at East Point Elementary in St. John’s.

Government representatives and Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador are expected to take part in the event, where details of the new funding will be announced.
