Infrastructure announcement planned for Lewisporte

Deputy Premier and Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Barry Petten is set to make a significant infrastructure announcement in Lewisporte on Wednesday.

The announcement is scheduled for 1 p.m. outdoors beside the constituency office of Lewisporte-Twillingate MHA Mark Butt at 122 Main St.

Petten is joined by Butt and Lewisporte Mayor Krista Freake for the announcement.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will move to the Lion’s Club on Bowater Avenue in Lewisporte.

The province has not released details about the infrastructure project ahead of the announcement.
