Impaired driver arrested in St. John's
Shortly after 1 a.m. RNC Patrol Services responded to a report of impaired driving in the area of St. John’s International Airport.
Upon arrival to the area, officers located and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. After failing the roadside screening device, the male operator was then arrested for impaired driving and transported for additional testing.
As a result, the 25 year old male was charged with impaired operation and operating over .80 mg/100ml. The male was released to appear in court at a later date and the vehicle was impounded.
