Hamilton Avenue westbound traffic to be detoured for watermain work

Westbound traffic on Hamilton Avenue will be detoured through Bennett Avenue beginning Thursday as the City of St. John’s carries out planned watermain maintenance.

The detour will be in place from Aug. 13 to Sept. 4.

Eastbound traffic on Hamilton Avenue will not be affected by the work.

Access to properties will be maintained for residents, and motorists are asked to follow posted signage in the area.
