Gasoline, Diesel and Heating Fuel Prices Fall Across NL

Maximum fuel prices decreased across Newfoundland and Labrador following the latest adjustment based on average market data available through Aug. 19.
Gasoline prices decreased by up to 2.7 cents per litre, while diesel prices on the Island fell by 1.0 cent per litre.
In Labrador, diesel prices in western areas decreased by 0.9 cents per litre.
Heating fuel prices also declined. Furnace oil on the Island decreased by 0.87 cents per litre, while stove oil in western Labrador fell by 0.78 cents per litre. Propane heating fuel decreased by 0.2 cents per litre.
The adjustments were based on the most recently available average market data as of the close of business on Aug. 19 and did not reflect more recent market activity.
The next scheduled fuel price adjustment was set for Saturday, Aug. 22.
