Gas prices up again

Gasoline prices increased across Newfoundland and Labrador as part of the latest fuel price adjustment, while changes to diesel and heating fuel varied by region.
All types of gasoline motor fuel increased by up to 1.9 cents per litre.
On the Island, diesel prices decreased by up to 0.1 cents per litre, while diesel in western Labrador increased by 0.4 cents per litre.
Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island decreased by 0.08 cents per litre. Stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador increased by 0.47 cents per litre.
The price changes were based on market data available at the close of business Aug. 14 and did not reflect more recent market activity.
The next fuel price adjustment is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 19.
