Gas down, diesel up in overnight fuel price adjustment

The price of gas is down today by 2 cents per litre. On the Island, Diesel went up by 6.5 cents per litre, and in western Labrador, diesel increased by 6.4 cents.

The price of furnace oil heating fuel on the Island increased by 5.57 cents, and stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador went up by 5.58 cents.

These changes are based on the most recently available market data as of the close of business on August 31, 2026 and as a result do not reflect more recent market activity.

The Board’s next price adjustment is on Thursday, September 3, 2026.
