Maximum fuel prices increased for most fuel types in Newfoundland and Labrador following the latest adjustment by the provincial regulator.

Gasoline prices increased by up to 3.3 cents per litre, while diesel prices on the Island rose by up to 0.5 cents per litre.

There was no change to diesel prices in western Labrador.

Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island increased by 0.41 cents per litre, while stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador decreased by 0.12 cents per litre.

The changes were based on market data available as of the close of business on Aug. 21, 2026, and did not reflect more recent market activity.

The next fuel price adjustment was scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 26.
