Fuel prices across the province take a dip

The maximum price of all types of gasoline dropped by up to 6.0 cents per litre.


Diesel prices on the Island fell by up to 7.8 cents per litre, while diesel prices in western Labrador decreased by 7.7 cents per litre.


Home heating fuels also saw reductions. Furnace oil on the Island dropped by 6.75 cents per litre, while stove oil in western Labrador decreased by 6.70 cents per litre.


The board said its next regularly scheduled fuel price adjustment would take place on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026.
