An area of low pressure will send precipitation across Newfoundland overnight.

It will be cloudy across Newfoundland tonight with precipitation developing this evening or overnight. Coastal areas (including St. John’s and the Avalon) will see freezing rain changing to rain, while inland areas turn to snow, ice pellets, or mixed precipitation (2–5 cm in many areas).

Winds will generally be north to northeast 20 to 40 km/h, gusting 40 to 60, adding a wind chill inland.

Temperatures range from around 0°C near the coast to -6°C inland.

It will be partly cloudy across Labrador with a chance of flurries for the north coast. Lows will range from minus 18 to minus 13.
