Evacuation order issued for Labrador City

The Town of Labrador City has issued an evacuation order due to a wildfire in the area.

Residents are asked to evacuate as soon as possible taking essential items only and report to the EJ Broomfield Arena in Goose Bay. Accommodations will be assigned once you arrive there. Those with family and friends in the area are still asked to report to the Arena.
