A 22-year-old man has received a driver’s licence suspension following a single-vehicle crash in the Torbay area on Monday afternoon.
The RNC, along with other emergency services, responded to the scene shortly after 3 p.m. after receiving a report that a vehicle with three occupants had left the roadway.
Police said no injuries were reported as a result of the crash. However, officers suspected the driver had consumed alcohol prior to operating the vehicle.
A roadside breath screening test resulted in a “warning,” police said. As a result, the driver received a seven-day licence suspension, and the vehicle was impounded.
