Driver arrested after fleeing from police

The RNC attempted to stop a 33 year old male driver on St. Thomas Line in Paradise last night. The driver fled from police at a high rate of speed.

Officers discontinued the pursuit for public safety concerns. A short time later officers located the vehicle which had turned up a dead end road.

Police took the man into custody and he is charged with flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, refusal of the breath demand, and impaired driving.

The vehicle was impounded, his license was suspended, and he was held for court.
