Conservative MP introduces Bill to make December Christian Heritage Month

Conservative MP Marilyn Gladu has introduced a Private Members Bill to the House of Commons to make December Christian Heritage Month.

Gladu has been the Member of Parliament for Sarnia-Lambton since 2015.

There are currently months designated to other faiths in Canada. April is Sikh Heritage Month, October is Canadian Islamic History Month, and December is Hindu Heritage Month.

Just over half of Canadians identify as Christian.
