TCH reopens following collision between Badger and South Brook

UPDATE: The Trans-Canada Highway – between Badger and South Brook - has fully reopened to traffic in both directions.

EARLIER: Both lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway are closed east of Gull Pond (between Badger and South Brook), as a result of an earlier motor vehicle collision.

There are no detours available, and all motorists are asked to avoid the area and delay travel plans until further notice.

Updates regarding the highway closure will be shared as soon as new information becomes available.
