Building permit values frop nationally and provincailly

Statistics Canada reports that building permit values in Canada were down 13.1 percent in November.

Newfoundland had one of the biggest drops of 21.2 percent, coming in behind only Ontario, Manitoba, and Yukon.

There were several provinces where the rate was in positive territory, including Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories.
