Snow squalls will continue overnight on the west coast of Newfoundland with an additional 5 cm expected. Some flurries are expected on the Northeast coast and along the south coast and the Avalon Peninsula.
Winds tonight will gust from 80-100 km/h inland and 100-120 km/h along the coast, likely resulting in power outages.
Lows across the Island will range from minus 9 to minus 5. With the wind chill, it will feel even colder.
In Labrador, snowfall amounts of 2 cm are expected for coastal areas. Wind gusts to 60 are possible. Tonight, expect lows from minus 28 to minus 10; again, it will be colder with the wind chill.
