As one low departs, another one is on the way to Newfoundland for Sunday Night and Monday.

On Sunday Night, snow will commence across western, northeastern, and central Newfoundland. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are expected.

For St. John's, the northern Avalon, Clarenville through Bonavista and Terra Nova, snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected on Sunday Night rollowed by 5 to 15 mm of rain on Sunday. There is a risk of ice pellets and freezing rain during the changeover.

Across the south coast and southern Avalon Peninsula, snowfall amounts of 3 to 7 cm are expected on Sunday night into Monday. Snow will change to rain with 15 to 30 mm possible.

Winds will be particularly strong in the Wreckhouse area with gusts to 130 km/h expected early Sunday evening until after midnight Sunday night.

Labrador City and Wabush won't escape this storm either. From Sunday morning until Sunday night, 15 cm of snow is anticipated.
