An area of low pressure will pass east of the Avalon Peninsula overnight and will bring snow to the area, with the heaviest snow expected to fall over the eastern half of the Avalon Peninsula. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are expected. 10 to 15 cm will fall overnight. Showers or flurries are expected for the remainder of the Island. Lows from minus 2 to plus 1 are expected.
There is a chance of flurries in western Labrador, freezing rain in Nain, and rain or snow in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
