Another active hurricane season predicted

Colorado State University has released its hurricane outlook for the Atlantic basin for 2022.

It is expected to be another active year with 19 named storms. Nine hurricanes are expected and of those storms, four are expected to become major hurricanes.

Hurricane season begins on June 1 and runs through November 30. The season peaks around the middle of September.
