Alert Ready test scheduled for today

Today there will be a test of the national emergency alerting system.

Residents with a compatible device will receive the test alert at 10:55 a.m. Newfoundland time and 10:25 a.m. in most of Labrador.

The Alert Ready system delivers critical and potentially life-saving alerts through television, radio and compatible wireless devices.
