A wet and windy day ahead for parts of the province

Rainfall amounts of 2 mm are expected late in the day in Corner Brook. Port aux Basques will see rainfall amounts of 5 to 10 mm and wind gusts up to 110 km/h. Marystown is looking at 2 mm later today with wind gusts up to 60. There is a chance of showers in central and on the Avalon Peninsula. Conditions will be fair on the Great Northern Peninsula. Highs will range from 9 to 14.

Across Labrador, it will be wet in western areas. Labrador City will see rainfall amounts of 5 to 10 mm, while Churchill Falls will see 2 mm. Sun and cloud is expected elsewhere. Expect highs from 7 to 14.
