A rainy day ahead for Newfoundland

Rain is expected across most of the Island today, with a general 5 to 15 mm expected, except 15 to 25 mm on the southwest coast. On the Great Northern Peninsula, precipitation will fall as snow. Highs will be quite warm, ranging from minus 1 to plus 10.

In Labrador, snow will move into western areas late in the day and continue into the night. Highs from minus 13 to minus 3 are expected.
