A quiet Friday ahead before a low moves in tonight

It will be a nice start to the day across Newfoundland and Labrador with most areas expecting sunny skies or a mix of sun and cloud. Winds will also be fairly light. Temperatures across the Island will reach between 3 and 5, across the Big Land, temperatures will be between minus 3 and zero.

A low will move through tonight, bringing rain to most of Newfoundland and snow to Labrador. I'll have more details on that in your afternoon update.
