A calm evening ahead for the province

Nice weather is expected across most of Newfoundland overnight. We are looking at overcast with a few clear breaks for the Avalon Peninsula and central areas. There is a change of flurries along the south coast. For western areas, about 2 cm of snow is forecast. Lows from minus 10 to minus 2 are expected.

Cloudy periods are expected across most of Labrador, except for Labrador City, where some light snow is expected with accumulations of 2 cm likely. Overnight lows will range from minus 21 to minus 18.
