A beautiful day ahead for the Island

Models highlight a building ridge over the island today, providing widespread clear skies and very warm temperatures for Central and Western Newfoundland.

Cloud cover increases late in the day from south to north ahead of an unzipping frontal boundary tracking toward the Maritimes, which will bring rain into the island by late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
