Newfoundland Receives Another Blast of Winter #nlwx

Newfoundland is getting another blast of winter.

There are school closures and delays from coast to coast this morning. Several CNA campuses have also closed for the morning.

Many roads are snow-covered and slippery.

There are a couple of flight delays at St. John's International Airport and Deer Lake Regional Airport. Marine Atlantic has postponed its morning crossings to this evening.

As of 6:00 am, our low is centred just north of the Burin Peninsula.

The snow and strong winds will continue this morning. This afternoon snow will linger along the west coast of the Island and along the northeast coast.
