Flooding Rain Expected for Newfoundland & Snow for Labrador #nlwx

A low-pressure system will bring some unsettled weather to Atlantic Canada beginning on Monday night.

Snow will creep into the southwest corner of Newfoundland on Tuesday morning. Precipitation will quickly change over to rain. The only area expected to see snow is the west coast. There is a risk of ice pellets and freezing rain also. For southern and western Newfoundland 50 to 70 millimetres are possible Tuesday morning to late Wednesday.

Coastal Labrador will see snow begin Tuesday night and continue into Thursday. There will also be strong winds causing reduced visibility. 15 centimetres of snow is expected.
