New High Temperature Records Set in NL

Several stations in Newfoundland and Labrador set new daily maximum temperature records on October 11.

Mary's Harbour New record of 20.9 Old record of 16.2 set in 1991 Records in this area have been kept since 1956

Nain New record of 19.7 Old record of 16.7 set in 2003 Records in this area have been kept since 1984

Wabush Lake New record of 18.7 Old record of 18.6 set in 2003 Records in this area have been kept since 1960

La Scie New record of 18.3 Old record of 14.3 set in 1988 Records in this area have been kept since 1977

St. Anthony New record of 15.6 Old record of 15.1 set in 2003 Records in this area have been kept since 1945
