Hurricane Dorian to Slam Newfoundland

As of right now, Hurricane Dorian is 230 km southeast of Nantucket, Massachusetts.

The maximum sustained winds are 140 km/h and is presently moving to the northeast at 41 km/h.

The storm is expected to hit Newfoundland and Labrador.

Dorian is expected to move over Nova Scotia with hurricane-force winds. Thereafter, Dorian is forecast to become a powerful post-tropical cyclone over eastern Canada by tonight or early Sunday.
