Hot Weather This Weekend for NL #nlwx

It will be a nice weekend for Newfoundland.

Temperatures across the Island will soar to almost 30 degrees for some areas.

It won't be hot enough for a heat warning, but some areas will see the hottest temperatures of the summer so far.

Heat warnings are issued in Newfoundland and Labrador when two or more consecutive days of daytime maximum temperatures are expected to reach 28°C or warmer and nighttime minimum temperatures are expected to fall to 16°C or warmer. Or when two or more consecutive days of humidex values are expected to reach 36 or higher.
