Winnipeg Airport Evacuated

There were some tense moments on Sunday at the Winnipeg International Airport.

Around 7:00 am this morning the airport was evacuated after a piece of luggage was left unattended.

Authorities described what happened as a "possible security incident".

Passengers were allowed back into the airport shortly after 8:00 am.

There were 17 flights delayed.
