RNC Warn Drivers to Obey Road Signs #nltraffic

Police are Corner Brook are reminding the public to obey road signs.

RNC have received 6 complaints in the Townsite area of the city reporting of drivers disregarding traffic control signage in that area.

Vehicles have been disregarding No Entry signs and driving in wrong direction on one way roads.

License plates of vehicles involved were recorded and the matter remains under investigation.

The RNC would like to remind motorists in the Townsite and downtown area that there are posted signs and markings on roadways indicating restrictions on direction of travel on certain roads.

These markings and signage are identified for the safety of drivers and general public.
