Corner Brook Winter Carnival Ends Today

Today is the last day of the Corner Brook Winter Carnival.

The 10 day event wraps up today.

However there is still a jam-packed schedule today.

Carnival Brunch 10 am to 12:30 pm All Hallows Church Basement, 109A Humber Rd. Cost $8.00 per person. Brunch consists of scrambled eggs, bologna, bacon, baked beans, pancakes, toast, tea, coffee and juice. Sponsored by All Hallows Ladies League.

Story Telling and Crafts 12 pm to 2 pm Join us at the Arts and Culture Centre for Winter Carnival Themed crafts and stories. Hot chocolate and treats will be served. The event is for children ages 4 to 10. Parents/guardians must stay with the children. Space is limited so please call 637-2582 to reserve your spot. The Arts and Culture Centre University Drive. Cost is admission is free

Closing Ceremonies 2 pm to 4 pm The Royal Canadian Legion, West Street. Cost: Free. Come join the Winter Carnival Committee as they close Carnival 2017. Music by Joe Russell. There will be clowns, face painting, TNL performance, door prize, button prize draws & coloring contest, snacks and more…come out and celebrate the closing of Corner Brook Winter Carnival 2017!

Carnival Hymn Sing 7 pm Community Carnival Hymn Sing Sponsored by The Salvation Army Temple 177 O’Connell Drive. Cost: A free will offering will be received for child sponsorship. All are welcome. Refreshments to follow.
