7 new COVID-19 cases reported

There are seven new cases of COVID-19 today.

Two are in Eastern Health, one is in Central Health, one is in Western Health, and three are in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region.

Five cases are related to travel within Canada. One case is under investigation, and one case is a close contact of a previously known case.

There is no one in hospital due to COVID-19.

The presumptive positive case reported Wednesday, August 25 in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region has now been confirmed positive.

There are currently 14 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.

So far, 269,142 tests have been administered.
