The Rotary Club of St. John’s Northwest says fewer than 100 tickets remain for its annual Trip of the Month fundraiser, with the Early Bird Draw deadline less than three days away.

The $150 tickets are eligible for all 12 monthly draws, with winning tickets returned to the draw for a chance to win again.

This year’s lottery features $80,000 in prizes, including an Early Bird trip to Greece, 12 major travel prizes and 60 cash prizes throughout the year.

The club says 900 tickets were printed for the lottery.

The Early Bird deadline is Saturday, October 10.

Proceeds from the fundraiser support the club’s community initiatives and organizations. The Rotary Club of St. John’s Northwest has supported projects and organizations including the Salvation Army Ches Penney Centre of Hope, the Mundy Pond skatepark, Hope Air, the Jacob Puddister Memorial Foundation and Rotary Manor.

Rotary Manor is a 46-unit affordable housing complex built by the club in 1988 for seniors, people with physical disabilities and single-parent families receiving subsidized housing.

It's truly impressive to see how the Rotary Club of St. John's Northwest funnels proceeds from this lottery directly into vital community support, like the incredible work with Rotary Manor and the Mundy Pond skatepark. The fact that winning tickets go back into the draw for more chances is a fantastic incentive! It makes me wonder what other engaging community events or local sz games people look forward to throughout the year. 😊
