RNC Charges 69-Year-Old Male with Impaired Driving After Collision

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has charged a 69-year-old male with impaired driving following a collision in the East End of St. John’s.
At 5:33 p.m. on October 27, 2025 officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary received a call of a collision in the east end of St. John’s involving two vehicles.
Upon arrival, officers determined that one of the drivers involved was impaired by alcohol. The 69-year-old male was charged with impaired operation of a conveyance and over 80.
He was released to appear in court at a later date. His driver’s license was suspended and his vehicle was impounded. Luckily no injuries were reported.
