Queen's Coffin arrives at Holyroodhouse

On Sunday the Queen's coffin arrived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland.

The coffin will rest in the Throne Room until Monday afternoon.

Today there will be a procession on the forecourt of the Palace of Holyroodhouse to convey the Coffin to St Giles' Cathedral, in Edinburgh.

The King and Members of the Royal Family will take part in the procession and attend a service in St Giles’ Cathedral to receive the Coffin.

During this time the people of Scotland will have an opportunity to pay their respects.
