AWS suffers outage affecting websites worldwide

Amazon Web Services, which provides on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies, and governments on a metered, pay-as-you-go basis, is down.

Companies using the service, including Signal, Lyft, PayPal, Fortnite and Snapchat, are all affected by the outage.

Amazon's main website, along with Prime Video and Alexa, is also impacted.
