Public exams cancelled again this year

The Department of Education has once again cancelled public exams for the 2022-23 school year.

The department is expanding its current review of assessments in schools across the province. Since a review is ongoing, a decision has been made to cancel public exams for this year.

At this time it is unclear if the public exam system as it existed pre-COVID-19 can meet the educational needs of students.
