Provincial government takes websites offline following cybersecurity vulnerability

Some Newfoundland and Labrador government websites and online services are being temporarily taken offline as a precaution following the disclosure of a global cybersecurity vulnerability.
The provincial government says technical teams are assessing its technology systems and working with federal, provincial and territorial partners to determine which services can safely remain available.
Websites and online services are being evaluated individually, with some residents potentially experiencing temporary disruptions.
The government says teams are working to restore affected services as quickly and safely as possible.
MyGovNL remains unaffected at this time.
The province apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience.
