Person falls into Ocean near Crockers Cove

Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department responded to a rescue incident in the Crockers Cove point area this evening.

It involved an individual who had taken a fall in an area of cliffs and the ocean.

The person was found safe and was taken from the area by firefighters and then onto medical personnel.

The Harbour Grace Fire Department also responded with their cold water rescue unit.
