Order of Newfoundland and Labrador Awarded to Nine Individuals


At a ceremony, Wednesday at Government House, Lieutenant Governor Judy Foote presided over a ceremony for nine women and men who received the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.


The recipients are:

  • John Barrett

  • David Gordon Bradley

  • Louise Bradley

  • Fred Budgell

  • Dr. Alice Collins

  • Marlene Creates

  • Dr. Donald Bruce Dingwell

  • Lester Powell, and

  • Dr. Ted Rosales


With the recent additions, there are 127 Newfoundlanders and Labradorians invested in the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.


The Order of Newfoundland and Labrador is the province’s highest honour.
