Newfoundland Herald ceases operations

It is the end of an era for print media in Newfoundland and Labrador as the Newfoundland Herald releases its final edition.

The magazine has been in existence since 1946 when it was started by Geoff Stirling.

The Herald will maintain their website for archived news.

The Newfoundland Herald along with OZFM and NTV make up Newfoundland Broadcasting Ltd.
